Why is this discussion important? It’s completely natural to have desires regarding situations and expectations of others. For instance, when I visit my favorite coffee shop, I anticipate receiving my change, enjoying a tasty meal, and certainly not having someone spit on my plate. Similarly, at a hardware store, I expect to purchase quality products, and when seeking assistance from friends, I hope they’ll be available for me.

This is where the “anomaly” surfaces: when our expectations drift from reality. Picture this: you visit a café expecting not just great food, but also complimentary dishes. Or, you go on a first date with someone, envisioning them as the ideal companion, without any room for deviation.

Furthermore, things can take a turn when an individual becomes disconnected from their desires, often due to consuming excessive advice on how to manage cravings or reading similar content. This disconnection can lead to an unrecognized accumulation of unmet needs, eventually resulting in an emotional overflow.
