While many aspire to be productive, I've observed a group of friends who, despite their outward appearances of productivity, often display laziness. They are entrepreneurs, and they all share one crucial habit.

In this article, I will unveil this habit so you can incorporate it into your daily routine.

Imagine a day when everything aligns perfectly. Your productivity soars, your focus sharpens, and distractions fade away. This heightened state of efficiency is attainable through a practice that successful entrepreneurs swear by: starting the day with work.

Research indicates that when you wake up early, "your hormones are optimized for peak physical and mental productivity."

Ironically, what many consider the most exhausting time—early morning—is actually the ideal moment to tackle your tasks.

This early-morning routine provides entrepreneurs with a head start, allowing them to prioritize critical tasks and ensure they make progress on their most important goals. This approach is often referred to as "Eating the Frog," which involves completing your most significant task first (the "frog").

By rising early and embracing this method, you can accomplish what usually feels overwhelming with relative ease.

After waking, I make it a point to leap out of bed rather than hit the snooze button. Within seconds, I am seated at my computer with a glass of water at my side, ready to go.

I plug in my AirPods, cover them with noise-canceling earmuffs, and dive into my most pressing tasks. I identify these tasks based on any reluctance I typically feel toward them. For instance, I've been grappling with learning coding, which I find challenging.

My strategy? Schedule that demanding task for the morning, stripping away any hesitation I might associate with it.

By confronting your most difficult or least appealing tasks first thing in the morning, you can gain momentum and sidestep procrastination.

This "Eat the Frog" technique helps you complete the hardest part of your day upfront, leaving you invigorated and ready to tackle the rest of your to-do list.

Consistency is vital—make this early routine a staple, and you'll be astounded by how much more you can accomplish. By 9 AM, I've usually completed most of my tasks, having worked for about four hours (including breaks, of course). This leaves me with the entire day to optimize for other activities.
